Lat

Click on the image above to see the actual image.

The above image is a carricature of our former PM, Tun Mahathir , by Lat. It’s quite amusing as the picture shows Dr. Mahathir continue talking in the Television(purists may call it the idiot box) despite having the plug disconnected. Hmm…I wonder if Lat has anything political to say…..

BTW…Lat is an Ipoh guy. He is also and Andersonian guy and my dad knew him….Hmm…I wonder whether he knows my dad.

BTW…goto FaceAnalyzer.com Check it out….It’s pretty cool.

Nope..the title is right…You might be wondering why is it so. It’s like comparing oil and water right…a mess with someone so beautiful…..Well…I’ll not talk about the AP business….the blogs on the net are awashed with the issue…but let me talk about Asha Gill….I made an exciting discovery today…she’s Malaysian…..Yeah….Her father is a Malaysian Punjabi and mum is a British English lady. Man…she’s so fine…but shes a bit old though…34 yrs of age….hey…but Aishwarya Rai is also of the same age…

Putting of the inevitable. My mid-term is in two days time…..and I have to study Data Structures….Wish me luck people…

Until next time. I’m signing off.

Well…..I hope our currency get stronger…Check with an online currency website shows that the exchange rate between Malaysia and Canada is now :

1.00 CAD
Canada Dollars
= 3.07263 MYR
Malaysia Ringgits

Not bad…..I hope it goes even stronger(for our currency I mean). US -> Malaysian currency exchange rate has improved, albeit slightly. It is now 1 USD to 3.75 Malaysian Ringgit.

Well…that’s the update. Adios!

Ringgit Peg Lifted!!!Controlled! Float!!!BAH

July 21st, 2005 by jsuresh

Well news sources on the web seems to confirm. from JeffOOi’s blog to Rajan rishyakaren’s webblog to Google’s news

Financial Express of India has this to report:

KUALA LUMPUR, JULY 21:  Malaysia on Thursday announced that it
will unpeg the country’s currency, the ringget, from the US dollar and
replace it with a managed float. The annoucement follows a simliar move
by

China.
“Changes in the international and regional financial and economic
environment have made it important for Malaysia to have a stable
exchange rate against its major trading partners, in particular, the
regional countries,” the central bank, Bank Negara, said in a
statement. The bank said the ringgit, which had been fixed at 3.8 to
the dollar since the horrific Asian financiall crisis 1998, will be
allowed “to operate in a managed float” with immediate affect.

Its value will be determined by economic fundamentals, the statement said.

Well…for us in Canada….this is superb news!!!! hope the Ringgit will appreciate to 3.70 or better…I doubt it would go higher than that. Well…controlled float….guess its better than no float at all….btw…check on the web led to this new word AP-rent-his…..if you’re not following the fiasco back home…shoot yourself on the late….it’s on the front cover on all major newspapers.

First and foremost. Thank guys for your comments. Whoa…My plea for posts actually worked..Thanks guys (and gal) lol..

Well I was walking home yesterday at 1:30 am after coming back  from a friend’s house (transferring movies and gathering notes with my bag)…kinda weird doing that on a friday night….BUT guess what happened a Canadian Girl said hi to me..

Now now….you guys think I should be happy but lets look at this…
- it’s Friday night
- She’s Canadian
- There are beer parties at few of the houses that I passed by
- She’s having a cup in her hand…ostensibly filled with beer

There…the facts were laid before you…She could have been drunk…!!!! Which sane Canadian(read Caucasian) girl would actually even talk to me…Hell I’d be lucky even if I get an Indian girl to talk to me.

lol…but on the upside…she’s pretty decent for New Brunswick’s standard…lol…

Btw…Tamilians out there..watch Anniyan…I think I’m going to add Sadha as my second girlfriend…Shoots…She’s damn hot…Don’t worry Trisha…You’ll still be my first Love….

Ah…Kumaran…Thank goodness you’re not on this blog cause I’d be flamed by your comments….well since he is not here let me tell you guys about him…He is my ancestrally linked bro…Yeah another Sri Lankan Tamil (from Sri Lanka) and he likes Trisha too….well boohoo…..Shes’ mine and so is Sadha…Buzz of Kumaran…You have someone in Toronto ;-) so stay off my turf.

A beautiful Poem

July 10th, 2005 by jsuresh

I hope this will be our walk… !

THANKS TO GOD
I pray that this will bless you as it blessed me.
Hello God,
I called tonight
To talk a little while
I need a friend who’ll listen
To my anxiety and trial.
You see, I can’t quite make it
Through a day just on my own…
I need your love to guide me,
So I’ll never feel alone.
I want to ask you please to keep
My family safe and sound.
Come and fill their lives with confidence
For whatever fate they’re bound.
Give me faith, dear God, to face
Each hour throughout the day,
And not to worry over things
I can’t change in any way.
I thank you God for being home
And listening to my call,
For giving me such good advice
When I stumble and fall.
Your number, God, is the only one
That answers every time.
I never get a busy signal,
Never had to pay a dime.
So thank you, God, for listening
To my troubles and my sorrow.
Good night, God, I love You too,
And I’ll call again tomorrow!

The man whispered, "God, speak to me"
and a meadowlark sang.

But, the man did not hear.
So the man yelled, "God, speak to me"
and the thunder rolled across the sky.

But, the man did not listen.
The man looked around and said,
"God let me see you."
And a star shined brightly.

But the man did not see.
And, the man shouted,
"God show me a miracle."
And, a life was born.

But, the man did not notice.
So, the man cried out in despair,
"Touch me God,
and let me know
you are here."
Whereupon, God reached down
and touched the man.
But, the man brushed
the butterfly away

and walked on.

I found this to be a great reminder
that God is always around us in the
little and simple things
that we take for granted…
even in our electronic age…
so I would like to add one more:

The man cried,
"God, I need your help!"
And an e-mail arrived reaching out
with good news and encouragement.

But, the man deleted it and continued crying…

Don’t miss out on a blessing
because it isn’t packaged
the way that you expect.

My instructions were to send this
to people that I wanted God to bless
and I picked you.

Please pass this to people
you want to be blessed.

Expect the unexpected…..

Have A Happy Day!

Send this to all your friends and family.
Including the person who sent it to you.
Anyone that you love and care about.
Let them know God is there for them
always even when everyone else
has betrayed you and left you.
